Hello everyone,
This newsletter is a quick one — but with some great quotes and a short commentary on the importance of taking risks in one’s life.
Beware of looking for goals: look for a way of life. Decide how you want to live and then see what you can do to make a living within that life.

✏️ Rolling the dice
The greatest things in life come from taking risks. As I get older, I realize that more and more. Things that are risky push us out of our comfort zone, force us to learn new skills, and often require immense sacrifice.
Being comfortable with taking risks requires you to be confident in your ability to deal with the unknown, and pick yourself back up if things don’t go to plan.
I think the best novels have this sort of flavour to them — risky and difficult situations are interesting, relatable, and human. I’ve started seeing moments of risk as a sign of a life well-lived, and part of the fabric of the novel which is my own life.
