Let’s get straight into it.
✏️ Mastering Mindset
The mind is an amazing work of art: a tool so powerful that it can run amok and make you a stranger in your own home if you’re not careful. Understanding the form and function of your inner dialogue, your thought patterns, and your most effective ways of critical thinking are essential to understanding yourself.
You will never be able to reach your highest potential until you master your mind. The mind, as much as we like to think it is in our control, is anything but; the hardware and software developed over thousands of years of evolution, and is massively influenced by your environment. Before you realize it, you have become you without you even realizing it. It takes years, even decades before you can truly get to know yourself.
One of the most important tasks of your life is to craft a mindset that is positive and productive, allowing you to face the world in a healthy, effective, and efficient way. Many of us have mindsets that hold us back, that throw up imaginary boundaries that we cannot trespass. These are limitations we place upon ourselves. One of the great realizations of life is that you can be whoever you want to be. Adopting a mindset of ambition, optimism, and altruism may not get you past every hurdle, but it’ll get you farther than those whose minds tell themselves to not even bother jumping.
Treat your mind and your body as clay, and as its artist sculpt yourself into the individual you seek to become. The product may not be what you envisioned, but you may find that the journey and the destination are even better than you imagined.

📖 Book of the Week — Letting Go by David Hawkins
A great book about how we can let go of the negative emotions and repressed feelings, and overcome obstacles that slow down our growth and hinder our happiness, by surrendering and letting go.
[…] when we heal something in ourselves, we heal it for the world.

💭 Quote(s) of the Week
Don’t aim at success — the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the byproduct of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself.
